International Product Design:
Car Del Mar & Autoescape
CarDelMar and Autoescape are car rentals sites that were acquired by Expedia during my tenure there as Lead Designer.
As the only UX designer across the three CarRentals.com brands, my challenge was to create one site design that could be used by all 3 brands, and could be scaled to additional brands, markets, and currencies.
My Role
• Only/Lead UX Designer on this project. Worked with Sr. Product Managers in the US and Germany to prioritize MVP features and design version tests
• Ran user research studies to understand the user base for each market
• Built and tested feature prototypes
• Worked with visual designer to design hi-fi mockups
• Delivered final assets and assisted development team with execution
